Gerard M. Dougherty is a founding member of Dougherty & Landon, APC. Gerard was born in Glen Cove, New York and was raised on Long Island. Gerard attended St. John's University, College of Business Administration, between 1977 and 1981 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Economics while making the Dean's list for three consecutive years. In 1981, Gerard moved to Los Angeles, California to attend law school at Southwestern University School of Law. Gerard earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern in 1984, while making the Dean's List and earning an American Jurisprudence award for Civil Procedure. He was admitted to the California State Bar in June of 1985 and the United States District Court, Central District, in July of 1985. Between 1985 and 1995, Gerard worked as an associate attorney with three law firms that specialized in general civil litigation encompassing personal injury, family law, construction defects and business litigation cases. In July of 1995, Gerard founded what is now Dougherty & Landon, APC. Since its inception, the firm has specialized in the representation of clients in general civil litigation matters. Gerard has served as the host of Law Talk, KVEN radio in Ventura County, a program dedicated to informing the general public on various legal matters. Gerard also served as a Vice-President of the Simi Valley Republican Club and is a former member of Kiwanis and the Boys and Girls Club of Simi Valley. Gerard continues to serve as a judge for the Ventura County High School Mock Trial Competition which competes annually. He is a member of Business Network International (Conejo Valley Chapter) and the Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks Chamber of Commerce. Gerard is married to Sherry and has two daughters, Briana and Danielle. His avocations include spending time with his family, ice hockey, boating, and camping.

Brad J. Landon is a founding member of Dougherty & Landon, APC. Brad was born in Bethesda, Maryland but spent most of his early life in Atlanta, Georgia. Brad currently resides in Thousand Oaks. Brad is a veteran of the United States Army Military Police Corps, where he served three years as a member of a Special Reaction Hostage Rescue Team. After leaving the service, Brad attended the University of North Texas where he graduated cum laude with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. In 1994, Brad received his Juris Doctorate degree at Whittier College School of Law in Los Angeles, California. After law school, Brad joined with Gerard Dougherty to practice law full time. His practice is focused primarily in the areas of toxic mold, construction defects, homeowner's association law, and personal injury. In addition to serving on the National Board of Advisors for the American Indoor Air Quality Council, Brad provides free services to the Harriet Buhai Family Law Center, a clinic for indigent clients." Brad is also a member of the Community Associations Institute (Channel Islands Chapter); South Coast Homeowners Association; Westlake Village Rotary; and the Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks Chamber of Commerce. When he is not practicing law, Brad enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Robin, and two daughters Sarah and Alyssa. In addition to spending time with his family, Brad enjoys surfing and snowboarding.

Ann Michelle Mononi Ann Michelle Mononi is the newest associate of Dougherty & Landon, APC. Ann Michelle was born in Santa Rosa, California and has lived in California all her life. She left Northern California to attend Pepperdine University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1997. Not wanting to leave the gorgeous campus, Ann Michelle continued on at Pepperdine School of Law, earning a Juris Doctorate degree and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution in 2000. Ann Michelle started with Dougherty & Landon as a lawclerk in 1998 and became an associate with the firm upon passing the bar in May 2001. Before her clerkship with Dougherty & Landon, APC she worked as an intern for the Ventura County District Attorney, the Marin County Public Defender, and Gray’s Inn in London England. Ann Michelle handles a variety of different cases, from mold, construction defect, and breach of contract to personal injury. Ann Michelle enjoys competitive snow skiing and spending time with her dog, “Justice” who is a Pet Assisted Therapy Dog.
