WHAT ARE YOUR RATES:  This depends on the legal matter involved.  Some cases are handled on a contingency fee basis where the percentage runs anywhere from 25 to 40 percent.  Hourly rates for Attorneys are generally $350. but may vary depending on the matter.

DO YOU CHARGE FOR CONSULTATIONS:    If you meet with an attorney just for advice, we do charge a consultation fee based on the time spent with the attorney.  If you decide to retain our office to represent you in a legal matter at the conclusion of the consultation and pay the required retainer deposit, the consultation is free.  If your legal matter involves a personal injury claim, the consulation is always free. 

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT:  Personal checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

WHO WILL I MEET WITH FOR A CONSULTATION:  All clients will meet with the principal of the firm, Gerard M. Dougherty, unless otherwise agreed.  

WHAT ARE THE DIRECTIONS TO YOUR OFFICE:  From Ventura, take the 101 freeway south, exit at Westlake Boulevard and make a right.  Make your first right onto Townsgate Road.  Travel 1/8 of a mile to 2660 Townsgate Road.  We ae on your left and there is a sign, “Village Park” that fronts Townsgate road.  Our building number is 400.
